The Progress Report of the Conceptual Study of Innovative Approach for Fuel Debris Retrieval and Feasibility Study of Essential Technologies [Released on February 24]

Management Office for the Project of Decommissioning Contaminated Water Management had solicited and then adopted the operating entities below in June and in October respectively last year for the subsidy program “Validation of Technologies for Contaminated Water Management Project (Conceptual Study of Innovative Approach for Fuel Debris Retrieval and Feasibility Study of Essential technologies)” in the FY2013 Supplementary Budget.

  • Conceptual Study of Innovative Approach for Fuel Debris Retrieval (4 projects)
  • Feasibility Study of Visual and Measurement Technology for Innovative Approach (4 projects)
  • Feasibility Study of Fuel Debris Cutting and Dust Collection for Innovative Approach (3 projects)

The above 11 projects are currently in progress and to be finalized at the end of the fiscal year. The progress report meeting was held in December last year.
